Here I am ... these days the heat is really unbearable and since we are in the summer I decided to make a sauce fresh and fragrant ... pesto. I sow a few years ago basil Pra, a basil tender pale green in color, medium-small leaf from whose scent is delicate. The seeds I find at garden centers only provided enough or agricultural associations. The cultivation on my terrace and I have to say that it has found its ideal habitat in Veneto :-) Also when I go back "home" in Piedmont also purchase pine nuts and Ligurian olive oil so as to prepare the "real" pesto.
A friend a few years ago gave me good advice, or freeze it in ice trays. Each cube corresponds to the dose to a person where even in winter I can prepare a dish quickly, easily the scent of summer!
